There are many great gun control articles on the internet, so it’s quite an honor to be considered the best, even if it is just on some no-name politics blog like this one.
But I don’t think I’m the only person who feels this way, because this one article has been reposted, linked to and commented on thousands of times since being published barely a week ago.
In just 8 days, the article has already collected more than 1800 comments.
It was originally written by Larry Correia and posted on his WordPress.com blog. The article is ridiculously long but it’s a great read. It addresses every single argument FOR gun control and then debunks that argument using facts, logic, history, law and common sense. This is one of those articles that you should print a copy of and store inside a lock box. Continue reading →
Don’t you dare admit to watching Fox News in the presence of a pack of liberals. If you do, there will surely be hell to pay. Fox News, affectionately known as “Faux News” by the left, is a cancer in the otherwise happy land of modern journalism. Continue reading →
I see Snopes.com listed as a resource in online debates all the time. A quote from Snopes has somehow been elevated to argument-ending status. Once someone quotes a Snopes.com article, the argument has been won and the opponent has no choice but to retreat to his little troll cave, never to show his face again. Continue reading →
Barack Obama gave a strongly-worded speech in 2006 in which he denounced increasing the national debt limit.
In his own words then:
“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies…” Continue reading →
Liberals often like to say that it’s time to “have a conversation” or a “serious discussion” about certain controversial issues. What liberals really mean with these kinds of phrases is that it’s time to pass a new law, enact a tax or ban something.
According to liberals, it’s always time to have a serious conversation about something. But when you actually indulge them in said conversation, you find out they don’t actually want to converse. They want you to listen to them and nod your head. Continue reading →
One of the most ridiculous things to come out of liberal mouths is the argument that Obama does not support gun control. Now that we’ve had four years of Obama and all our guns haven’t been taken away, it shows that Obama is a pro-gun President!
The only kernel of truth we can dig up from this silly argument is that Obama did nothing to infringe upon gun ownership during his first term as President. But if you think this means Obama doesn’t have repeating wet dreams about pass sweeping gun control laws, you don’t know Obama. Continue reading →
The Obama of 2011 preemptively debunked the Obama of 2012 in this speech:
On July 22nd, 2011 Obama said we could increase government revenue without raising taxes. He said we could raise an additional $1.2 trillion in revenue by cutting back on deductions and closing certain loopholes.
Fast forward to November, 2012. In a news conference, Obama takes the exact opposite position. Continue reading →
