What Liberals Mean by “Having a Conversation”

Liberals often like to say that it’s time to “have a conversation” or a “serious discussion” about certain controversial issues. What liberals really mean with these kinds of phrases is that it’s time to pass a new law, enact a tax or ban something.

According to liberals, it’s always time to have a serious conversation about something. But when you actually indulge them in said conversation, you find out they don’t actually want to converse. They want you to listen to them and nod your head. Continue reading

The “Obama Is Not For Gun Control” Myth Debunked

One of the most ridiculous things to come out of liberal mouths is the argument that Obama does not support gun control. Now that we’ve had four years of Obama and all our guns haven’t been taken away, it shows that Obama is a pro-gun President!

The only kernel of truth we can dig up from this silly argument is that Obama did nothing to infringe upon gun ownership during his first term as President. Obama Debunks Himself (Fiscal Cliff)

The Obama of 2011 preemptively debunked the Obama of 2012 in this speech:

On July 22nd, 2011 Obama said we could increase government revenue without raising taxes. He said we could raise an additional $1.2 trillion in revenue by cutting back on deductions and closing certain loopholes.

Fast forward to November, 2012. In a news conference, Obama takes the exact opposite position. Continue reading
